I am in dire need of a joel translation. Is that oh the pants, I yearn to wear you or oh the pants of shame? (:

Indeed, my one-word response to those was "frumpy:.

Is that unfashionable, drab, out of date, or all the above?

Frumpy: To make the wearer look like they are carrying a lot of extra weight in the most unattractive regions. These pants look like the folds in a fat guys ass, only all the way to the ankle.

Seriously, while thoretically useful, the 'cargo pant' disappeared from the menswear horizon with a quickness because they make the male of the species look like their thighs are "with child". Nobody looks good in them.

(Cargo shorts, inexplicably, look okay. Cargo pants look dumpy.)

I think urban dictionary has the way of it:

Verb. To jib. Jibbing. The act of manuvering a bicycle, skateboard, snowboard or skis in tricky manner on top of and around a structure such as a stump, rocks, stairs, railigs, rooftops, etc. When you are playing around, showing off, jumping, flipping, hopping, etc you are jibbing.
