We have quite a few clients in LA. Most of our clients in south OC seem to be in a tax bracket that is relatively unaffected by the economic downturn. So far, we have 2 dates where no one is allowed to be sick.

That said, we only have 6 quartets this year. In past years we've had 7 or 8.

And if by "rumble" you mean, lets get together and sing our best songs for each other, that sounds awesome! Let's do it! I bet we'll have gigs relatively close to one another at some point. We should figure out a time to get together.

THe Magic Castle is fickle, I'm not surprised. I've done a couple of gigs there -- I met Neal Patrick Harris! (he's on their board) -- but it always seemed like a last minute thing. When you worked for them, was it for a cute rate + dinner? Just curious.

I'm on all of them, actually. Bass, vocal percussion, regular percussion, the low C and D handbells, and the occasional solo.

The boy has got a big surprise date planned on the night of the family and friends concert, or I'd totally be there. Any chance you're gonna be doing a public show up near me? Or should I just try to catch you at the park?

Not sure of our outside-gig shcedule yet, but we'll be at the Hotels at the Disneyland resort for the first three weeks of the season.

Please feel free to ask at City Hall when the Carolers with the handells will be appearing on Main Street :) Hopefully they'll put a group back in the park next year.
