I've got a Vampire (Salon) LARP tonight, an Heroic Fantasy (Boffer) LARP tomorrow, and I keep my polyhedral dice in my truck just in case a spontaneous, impromptu game of D&D erupts at the 7-11

I have that entire Stephen Lynch special somewhere on my hard drive. You should check out the rest of it if you haven't, as it is awesome.

The other day I found out that the two twenty-somethings who work at my local yarn shop (where I just got a teaching job) play D&D with their SOs, and want to do a D&D triple date with the boyfriend and myself. Win.

If only NERO wasn't so hard on those, or if they were more universally accepted. Sorsha wants! *sigh*

Our fighting style is just a wee bit lighter than NERO, for sure.

DK is particularly forgiving tho, we have a mix of PVC, cloth covered, latex/non-latex, etc, and it all seems to work out ok.

I'm gonna be laying low on the Vamp side for a while in order to prep for the April DK camping event. (And when I say prep, I mean spend time with sheercandy.)

I highly recommend DK, and think that the weapons crafting workshop on the 28th would be a good way to jump in. Check out more info at Dying Kingdoms or The Wyvern Manor.

It is possible to do both.

You may have to push back from the WoW desk occasionally, but it is totally doable.
