Just got a call and my operation, which was going to be tomorrow has been cancelled. They have no beds.

Might be able to get to Brid because they just raised their BMI limit so waiting list man is checking if I now qualify, if not it might not be til September.

Just seriously fuck everything.

I know last week the ambulances had been told Scarborough was closed to admissions and to take people to York! So I suppose I shouldn't be surprised they're still suffering a bed shortage.

My local hospital can't take me because it's not as big and my BMI is high, but apparently they raised their limit recently, and I've lost 3 stone so the waiting list guy is seeng if he can rearrange it for there in the near future since they're not suffering a bed shortage, which would be way more convenient than Scarborough anyway!

If not though Scarborough are booked up for ages so it might be September before they can get me a slot. And it was scheduled originally for February. Been dealing with the attacks since October. Am very grouchy right now, but I guess the post title clued you in there.
