yeah, my husband commissioned it for me for our 10th anniversary. I had no idea he was even paying attention when I'd go on and on about Joe's work. (and I'm so happy that I got this instead of a fancy engagement ring way back when we got married)

What a great gift!!! Much cooler than a ring. I commissioned a piece by him years ago of my dad. It's in his first book. I also bought one of his pieces from his last solo show. I wish I'd been able to afford a bigger one at the time, I have a feeling this next show is going to huge and I'm sure his prices are now well beyond me. He's awesome. And such a nice guy!

that's really cool! yeah, I wish we'd found him earlier on too, I'd love to have more pieces, but now this is a once in a lifetime thing.

I know he's got a show in October, can't wait to see his new stuff.
