I had to work in a group probably 6 times this year so far, and it is apparent that even if you do have the time to meet together as a group, the sum total of a group's intelligence is actually LESS than its most stupid member. Seriously.
And as to the whole taking charge thing, there are some people who are egomaniacs and will always take control, do things without telling you, and yes, grade you poorly because of it.
I thought groups would be over with after preschool. Gah.
Hang in there Joe, once you've finished school, this'll seem trivial.
