Don't like Glee..Ok. But...

So, I've noticed lately that Glee has taken a big nosebag of shit recently. Some of the excrement is more than a little deserved-one of the most valid concerns I've seen voiced lately is that Glee, on the whole, isn't as funny as it used to be (I'd point to the recent Xmas episode as an argument against that but maybe the Sue/Grinch stuff was too ( Read more... )

It is homophobic. And sexist. Apologizing after the fact doesn't change that.

Granted. I'd chalk it up to basic meatheadedness but that is the thing that fuels the whole system so, yes then.

My point is that he could be a meathead in all kinds of ways. Followill chose to call a gay man's gender into question. Yes, it's an easy insult, but that's only because homophobia and sexism are so 1) entwined and so 2) societally common.

I've never seen a single episode (or trailer) of Glee. But I'm pleased to hear from a reliable source (that's you) that something on TV (other than PBS) has some redeeming social value.
