You know what, you are probably right about council flu. I'm sure you were given the heads up about freshers flu at uni.
Think about it: six weeks of holidays, people flying to all corners of the globe, come back with coughs and colds and put them all back into the worlplace now we are back after the summer holidays.
And to say nothing of all the school kids mixing their germs up too.
I never got Freshers' Flu, luckily. :) Although, I barely left my little room unless I really had to. ;)
Council Flu is a direct biproduct of our dumb sickness policy. People come into work whether they're ill or not in order to avoid getting a NOC, and spread their germs around.
Not implying anything, lol. I went to bed not long after, I didn't recall it making me feel groggy before, I felt like I'd had some Actifed but despite a search there was none in the house to dry my nose and send me to sleep that night.

I've had the beginnings of a cold since yesterday, though thankfully it seems to be clearing up already.
Or it's the insane weather.

I took some Sudafed an hour ago and I'm feeling decidedly strange and groggy...does it usually do that to you?

A little bit of sugar makes the medicine go down.
Anyway I'm feeling much better this evening.
