I got an unconditional offer for Royal Holloway, University of London in European Literature! Shamone. I was smiling so wide when I checked UCAS you have no idea. I loved visiting the place, and started to doubt whether they'd let East London scum like me in, but I managed to fake it well enough or something and now I'm in, glorious. Well thanks, but I have to say I'm surprised on two counts, first that you even read this, and second, why you'd think kindly of me at all after recent myspace entries suggest that I'm some sort of demonic creature reaching out from your past with a stranglehold in the present

I was angry for a while, and you clearly were too. But time heals everything, and I wish you 100% the best and I am very glad you can move on with your studies. I'd feel very bad if your time spent here ruined your chances at continuing, so I'm glad you are. Besides, I really hate holding grudges...I just want the both of us to be happy in the end, so good luck.

It isn't a fluke that I'm able to transfer into the 2nd year at Royal Holloway, it was a calculated measure I took ever since Toledo where I'd only choose courses that would allow me transfer back to England if things were not to work out, hence all the 500-level English courses and minimal GECs. I always made sure to leave that option open. What I'm surprised at, though, is how I'm going to be at a uni ranked 10th in the country, better than Queen Mary where I started out.

To be honest, I'm not convinced that you'll mean what you said sometime in the near future where you may relapse into the nightmares and dark lens of me and such as you had only a month ago, but I appreciate the gesture regardless. I have a reputation as a nice guy so living up to that means I'm not to keep grudges either.
