Trains have the advantages of being fuel-efficient and giving you nice leisure time to read, etc, but they are expensive and not always on time.

Maybe there's some sort of carpool ride-board thing you could hook up with?

Weirdly enough, I found that when I, too, let go of that way-too-eager-to-impress vibe, and just chill out and talk about myself and my thoughts, people throw jobs at me (ok, not really). Interviews that felt to me as chill or not super high-energy were the ones i ended up getting offered. Weird, right? Maybe everybody else that applied was twitchy or something
