It seems I keep forgetting to remember things... such as how desperate certain situations are. And when I give pause and let the weight of everything really sink in I feel as if I should do nothing but weep for the rest of eternity or poke my eyes out or sell everything I have and devote my life to missions. I'm thinking... a truly appropriate

The tone of this post suggests that you are not in conlict over simple, level-one, basic life issues... e.g., you fell down and broke your leg and can't play volleyball, you left your windows down in your car and it rained all over your sheet music, you saw a bad movie and are mad you wasted your money. The types of things you are in conflict about are of a much higher "Meta-Conflict" level, and you are actually to the point where you are Conflicted about Conflict! Sounds to me that with that kind of post-modernist self-sabotaging attitude you'll never be happy or settled about anything, even when everything goes "right" for you
