What have you done with the real Shalini? anonymous February 3 2006, 04:03:54 UTC
I hear Shalini is putting the 'ass' back in assertiveness. Also I hear she's going out and talking to people... (she is totally a pod person)

I know...I'm a little scared. The country makes people weird.

Hello! Jenny here :) Good to hear you're having fun at the Alfred. I'm at caulfield doing gen med - though really, I reckon it should count as my geri rotation too :p Oh the social issues.

Hello! Lucky you, you get to do two aged care! Aren't the medical modules horrible? Oh, and about that aboriginal video: they have it at the Alfred library now. But you're only allowed to borrow it for two hours, so you have to borrow it, go to the clinical school and get the receptionist to open the student computer room so you can watch it there. Such a pain.

Ah. Wonderful.

I love how they make everything so easy.

More assertive? I am doing no such thing. But Suds is right about the talking-to-people bit. I made a stand tonight though, I am proud of myself... the girls are all out in the living room shaking their bootys (booties???) to Beyonce. I draw the line at Beyonce. I am in my room with the chemical brothers up on max volume, and three glasses of vodka safely in me.
Meanwhile. Are you seeing any other sideshows, Sbeck? Also, if you're at the Alfred, you have to go to that cafe down the road and get the Bacon Foccacia (capital letters are entirely necessary). Living vicariously through you,
Pans.

Well, I would get the bacon foccacia but I have no one to go with! It is a sad situation. There are a few students floating around but we only manage a furtive wave to each other as we're trotting behind our respective registrars. Registrars don't wait.

And no other sideshows...I went and saw Crayon Fields last week. They were good. $10, so you can't really go wrong.
