Well, I am off to Warragul tomorrow. I am excited to be going away, even if it is only to Warragul, it feels like a holiday. However, I haven't had much experience in share-housing (other than when I was in Thailand during my gap year), so I am a little nervous about that. I have devised some "rules to follow during the great share-house experiment ( Read more... )

I think you should make a roster as soon as you get there, so you dont have all this bottled up anger and urge to kill someone when it is you who finally does all the cleaning up. And keeping to yourself means you don't have to tolerate anyone. Get there early so you get the double bed (if you are staying in the same cabins as we did), and other people get shoved to the bunkbeds.

I am telling you - people are happy to live in a pig sty as long as they don't have to clean.

Filthy losers.

But Sbeck is going with just Cat and Ailin! They sound highly tolerable. I think you will have lots of fun and miss it lots when you come back- 's long as you take ETOH and a healthy stock of DVDs (tell Ailin to pack her Jackie Chan collection, for example :P I would have given you Serenity too! Crappio)
Have a brilliant time, FF, and make sure you post and give us DAILY updates. And we'll see you on the weekend for Bimbo Deluxe :P

Heya! I just came back from happenin' Wazzagul - it's an awesome rotation (I did ED there). As for accommodation - we didn't get to choose rooms or anything, we were just given a key (and there were only single beds in our rooms - no sharing rooms either). Plus, I absolutely understand the cleanliness thing (I'm so totally neurotic it's not funny), but honestly we had no problems; everyone went home on the weekends so there was never any mess in the place. Pretty much everyone just kept to their own rooms.

P.S. Go to the thai restaurant! It's *AWESOME*. When you get to the main roundabout that goes into town (as if you're driving there from the hospital), turn left. It's down that street :)
