Not much going on - just work and more work. I don't even know if I'm coming or going anymore. I swear I lose time around this time of year. I think a lot of it has to do with the time change. The days are so much shorter now. I know I definitely have seasonal disorder. I need some warm and sunny weather! I would really love to live ( Read more... )

aww sorry you upset your Mom and can't go home for xmas. :( i am spending it in So-Cal while the rest of my family is east coast. i just can't deal with traveling in the holiday mess, not to mention landing somewhere freezing cold, i'd rather be here. i hope you feel better soon, and Kevin and Korby have a nice holiday anyway. *hugs*

Well, I may be able to go home after all. It depends on if I get caught up on my work in time. I am definitely going to work my hardest to get it done. I get so tired of travelling back there for holidays as well and always think I'll just stay here this year and go back next year. The only thing that stops me from doing that is that I worry that it could be the last Christmas that I spend with my family. We're all getting older and you never know what's going to happen from year to year. Okay, that was a total downer response!!! Just kick me haha.

Hey Joey, That's terrible about Christmas and with illness! I hope something works out for you! Did you change jobs back? Is that going better now? Post when you get a chance!

I think I'm going to make it home after all. I've just got to work diligently the next two weeks and I will be going home and having my holiday. I think I just need a huge vacation!

You will get to go home for Christmas. It's just like Thanksgiving. Don't stress over things so not stress worthy. I know that we've talked since you wrote this, but there's no reason to be upset about it or for your mom to be etc ( ... )

I'm not really stressing right now. I'm just taking one day at a time and I am going to work hard to get my stuff done. It looks like we're going at a decent pace right now. Do you know if we've gotten all the stuff in we're supposed to?

I don't think the job itself is crazy. Just the software sitch, but everyone is having to deal with that. I will inquire about that position if it comes into our office. I don't know if I would be a good fit for that, but you never know.

Everyone adores me?! Really? Hahaha. And I'm glad you are helping me out. I do not have the speed to invoice and pay out yet. And I'm sure I'll be better when I'm not stuck doing all the corrections I had to do for the past two weeks!
