I really like the formatting of LJ. I've never had any bad experiences with it, or anyone creepin. Even though I'm paranoid and don't like people knowing my business, there is something a bit cathartic, maybe, about writing publicly and not knowing/caring if anyone reads it. I've had one of these on and off since high school along with physical journals. In any format, it's just good to get things off your chest.

I have a blogspot too. It's format is simple and there's a dashboard feature which organizes the ones you follow and let's you know when there's a new post.

i really like tumblr, but it seems to be more focused on inspiration/photos/pop culture/memes/whatever than actual writing. at least in my experience.

im trying to start a wordpress for my zines, and it seems to be the best for just having an internet presence so people can get in contact with me. But this is mostly because i have no clue how to do a real website.
Buuuut. its also good for livejournaling type stuff.
