The funny thing is is that your reaction to things like that shows people how much you really care about your kids. If you didn't react that way, if you just shrugged it off, those kids would think you didn't care. That'd make your ministry a lot harder.

Joe everyone has their ups and downs. You are an amazing individual and you have given ALL of us something. I know you showed me that I don't have to get love in all the wrong places and a lot of other stuff, Jesus is a HUGE part of my life now and I have you to thank for that. You never turned your back on me or anyone else and that's what's awesome about you. You take everything as a learning experience whether it hurt or not. As for our youthgroup it's growing! And I like it more and more. Last week, did you notice how many kids were singing?!?! Oh my gosh it was amazing to see all of us putting aside our differences to just praise Jesus. It's all coming together and life is all unwinding finally and I hope everyone else's does to... because life will always be full of mysteries, but we all just have different outlooks and perspectives. She was just spouting off crap. She's a twelve(ish) year old who acts half that and was trying to get you to feel bad because you made her feel bad.
