The video you made that featured Jeff dancing around in a duct tape bra.
That stupid corked bottle of Salentino that refused to open without a fight while you were on the phone with Angie. That was ironic on so many levels. At least I was able to show you what a wine that has gone bad smelled like.
Your half-dead koi.
Making two mix cd's that I have no idea of what half the songs are. Gee, THAT'S never happened before. lol!
Hearing your tales of successfully climbing the corporate ladder.
Discovering that we both have developed an interest in Bossanova.
I only deleted my reply b/c I don't like to bug random people on lj. :/ I'm really hoping everything goes well for your friend and your movie! I'm always rooting for young filmmakers to do well as they're the future of the industry. :) And if you get Jeff Combs (which I hope you do!), he's amazing and (from all I've heard) a total dream to work with. I've had the pleasure of meeting him several times and he's totally sweet. :)
If you don't want to announce it either way if you find out by Saturday, drop me an email. I'm as curious to know as you are! :)
Hey, not a problem. I rather enjoy getting replies to my entries - it's nice to know that I'm not just talking to myself here on this journal.
I didn't reply to your earlier post because I was pretty busy the beginning of the week, and by the time I got around to replying, your original post was deleted.
I've got to redline the latest copy of the script tonight so that Anthony and I can finish the sixth (and hopefully final) version this weekend. I'll be getting on the phone with Anthony late tonight or early tomorrow with my notes, and I'm hoping that he'll have good news for me then. One way or another, I'll be updating my journal once we get word, and I'll be updating a lot more regularly once we go into production.
If you're interested in reading the current version of the script, I've got it in pdf form so I can share it. I would just ask that, in return, you would provide some honest feedback.
Oh man, I would love to read the current version of the script! I've helped some directors up in Vancouver with advice/feedback/rewrites, so this would be a blast! I've also helped promote a few movies with my graphic design work, including Abominable which starred Lance Henricksen, Jeff Combs, and Matt McCoy. If you need my help that way (later later) later on, let me know. :) Where is it potentially being filmed?
I'm really keen to watch your progression. :) Too bad I don't have more "sway" with Jeff or I'd totally tell him to jump on this. :) I know he doesn't have much going on projectwise right now, so I'm sure he'd be up for this! :)
Just email me the script at darias_diner@yahoo.com or post a link to it in your lj. :)
