A quick review of the last few days; Friday, went to Metro, met Kelly & company, Ginny's guy Aaron, and some others. Drank a bit, staggered home. Good times. For the weekend, work...overnights Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Sleep is for pussies. Then came Tuesday. Spent that day sick, watching movies at home. Today is the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Looking at the pictures of the destruction and reading the text of FDR's speech, I am struck by the similarities between that event and the attacks of 9/11. Went with Ginny to see "Stranger than Fiction" last night. A sweet, subtle movie. Then off to Metro. Ginny did not go due to cigarette smoke, so I was on my lonesome initially. Adam loaned me a copy of the movie "The Core", which involves restarting the rotation of the earth's core with several nuclear bombs. This led to a wikipedia search about scientific inaccuracies in the movie, which led to a wikipedia page about the world's largest atomic bomb, which led to this.
