I got a new Hard Drive for my 360 and started re-downloading everything to my console. Now, this is fine and dandy, but many of my arcade games don't have a save file. Instead, there's only a game file, which I assume integrates the game save with the game data ( Read more... )

I know the Xbox has some internal memory, though I don't know how much. It could be certain things like Arcade saves are stored on there. Though the possibility is also to store such saves online. While that technically means people without internet connections would be screwed, there is also a simple fact that you can't really get the games without net connections in the first place.

Did a google and the only thing that came up about the topic was this very entry. Could always ask MajorNelson via Tweet or something.
