Been pretty cool! Panels are crowded as balls, but that's arite. Haven't slept much, but again, that's arite. Tonight was pretty much crazy. We entered the Rock Band tournament on a whim, not expecting to do well at all. I want to kill you for being able to go you son of a bitch (though at least EA streamed their Dead Space panel, which was awesome).

I hope the success of PAX means there can be more fan-based conventions, particularly with industry support. Theories are that, after last year, both VGXPO and GameX are doomed to failure. Which is a shame because I liked both. I'm just sick of seeing nearly every game event being an industry summit or marketing ploy. The Dead Space panel was awesome because, though it wasn't anything major (aside from the DS2 clip), it was just something fun that allowed some insight into its development.

I'd love to see more events like this with industry support, but who knows how well that'll go. At the very least we now have a PAX on either coast, at least.

It's awesome to hear that you're having a great weekend, though.

It was awesome. The DS panel was great and it really reassured me that the guys were trying to keep the source material so cohesive and true to their original vision of the game universe.

And holy shit, the free stuff I got.
