It is odd...

I look at my friendslist and everyone is talking about hockey and it is almost kind of amazing how quickly I get OUT of that mode. I have not watched any hockey on TV and I kind of like having free time. I can actually attend my yoga class and it is nice having non-hockey people to go out and have some coffee or whatever with. Oh, and the public ( Read more... )

Very adorable icon with very adorable girls, Jo. Enjoy your time off and if you still have the get-together you were talking about before, I think I would like to go, if I have not said that already.

Oh yes, I am still having party. I am kind of biding my time in getting that together, since I know a lot of people's attentions are still focused on hockey...and it will be in July. Plenty of time.

If I were single, I'd offer you my curves. :)

Plantains are too plain. They need lots of butter and brown sugar to make them good!

Is too bad you are not. Maybe sometime, ja? *grins*

I did not use butter or brown sugar, because I am not big on using either. The receipe did call for cilantro and/or salt, but I kept that to a minimum...I agree. Not good. I think perhaps Jamaican food is not for me, although the Rum Punch was good. (I uh, did not give that to the kids, of course.)

Ja, maybe indeed! :)

Meh, that's more central american than Jamaican. I can make you some fabulous Jamaican food sometime if you'd like. Do you like spicy? :)

I miss your kids. Cutest kids. You look really nice there. You look really nice all the time :) That picture taken where? Look vaguely familiar.

Well hey, maybe I bring them over to visit. Did you know I have a place in Calgary? It is Pernilla's old place, she basically abandoned it when she abandoned the kids, and I got the deed transferred over. I was going to sell it but it still needs some work before I can do that. So maybe I bring the kids up for a weekend and work on the house and you can visit.

And you are such flatterer. The picture was taken at the Pittsburgh Zoo, on one of our little daytrips...we were right by the seal enclosure. Actually they let us in to see the seals, that is why Wilma is looking down, because she is watching them. Ah well, I still think is good picture.

Yes, you tell me one time of your place here. I never forget what you say.We should get together if you come to Calgary. I get you tickets for game and bring kids too :)

Seals ... are very wet and slimy.

I think maybe I will come to Calgary. But go to game? Kipper, you want me to get jumped?

Seals are actually not too slimy. One kissed me on the cheek when I was there. They are wet though...they did tricks and kissed each other and the kids and the like. It was very cute. I wish I could go to zoos more often. *grins* I know I used to drag you out to the one zoo in Kentucky all the time...
