You skipped too, mmm? Well, school...I never thought it was that important. You see, the town I grew up in, Leksand, was more of an enabler than anything. It is one of the major tourist towns in Sweden so you can get anything you want out of the tourists...the town is big enough to keep secrets, small enough that everyone knew who you were if you were important enough, which I was. I was a hockey AND football prospect, so basically if I wanted a passing mark, by God, I was going to GET a passing mark. Hell, if I wanted the teachers to blow me, by God, the teachers were going to blow me.

Like I said, I was a pretty bad kid. Nothing like I am today.

tver is big, but pretty soon a lot of them knew me.

see...in russia, they stick all the athletes in one class. from when i was 10 or 11, my classes were all boys, the best athletes in all sports in tver.

we were...a handful, to say the least. i did good in science classes especially, but i was never big on language and lit stuff.

teachers usually humored us...except for when i was older, i decided to quit the team in tver and go play for spartak in moscow, they had better system. one of my teachers was such big tver fan, she would not pass me!
