so amazing. thanks for sharing.

and i'm struck by your use of the word "girl." i've tried to stop using it to describe 20-somethings, even 16-somethings. if someone referred to me as "boy" in that context, i think i'd probably feel patronized. curious that boy isn't used that way, but girl is, eh?

"Guy" is a good way to hedge between "boy" and "man". I long for a word between "girl" and "woman" in that sense, because I hate both of those options.
