Yeah exactly. At the least it seems a good idea to pause to look just where exactly, or on what, you're placing your ass. Seems a rather special area, that you'd want to know what it was coming in contact with.

I hate sitting on a wet toilet seat, so I always look at it before I sit down.

dude... examining a public toilet before dropping a deucer isn't obsessive.
it's good damn common sense.

this guy must've had poor vision or something (i say this without having read the story...).

Well, I don't just look at the seat, I always wipe it off.

Like when I'm at work at the resort.. since I have access to cleaners, I wet a paper towel and take that with me to the bathroom to wipe off the seat.

It still gives me more reason NOT to use public restrooms. I'm the asshole that would rather squirm and have piss dribble down my leg. I hate public toilets, yuck.

um.. no one has mentioned the lameness of putting glue on a public toilet seat to begin with. The guy who got stuck might have committed Thoughtlessness and Careless Hygine, at _worst_, and paid for it with a great deal of public humiliation, wasted time, and exposure to industrial solvents (which will probably give him cancer or something), plus the cost to the public for the hostpital staff, which in total is a heavy price. But the one who put the glue on there committed Intentional Boneheaded Juvenility Without Revolutionary Purpose, and not even on his 'friends' who know him and might therefore expect his boneheadedness, but on someone completely random, and he will likely get away scot free and not learn anything from this except that anonymity is safety.

And if that doesn't get you, imagine if the mall authorities use this as justification for installing security cameras inside the restrooms, hm?

What would outrage me more is that, if this occurred in America, the dude would have been stuck with the hospital bill. And it would've been like, 3 thousand dollars or something ridiculous.
