He’d come here, to this ancient and uneasy land, to find the men who’d killed his wife ten years earlier. He had neither names nor faces, but Scotland held the promise of civil war, and no one knows better than John Winchester what evil war brings in its wake. But even he is surprised at what he finds lurking in Scotland’s broken spires.
