NERDS!

Yesterday geekpdx and I went to a board game party put on my my old CS prof, mainly for CS majors.  We played Puerto Rico, a tiny bit of DDR, and ate Chinese food while listing to people discuss creating a portal in Second Life to let the hordes of orcs from WOW in.  Then we came home, I did a bit of Operating Systems homework, and then geekpdx

The nerdiest event I've attended in a very long time, possibly ever. Also, Puerto Rico is the most complex board game I've ever participated in playing. Good thing we had so many of those well-tanned "colonists" tending our sugar plantations.

Yeah - we managed to come in second because we owned so many slaves commandeered so many colonists. Hooray for "colonists"!
