Apparently we should same the oil companies into not absorbing extra profits from a gas tax holiday.

Every time I try to write any comments about that post, I just get angry, so I'll leave it at that.

I ordered a new laptop yesterday!  No, I shouldn't be able to afford one, and my last one isn't that old - about 2.5 years.  But various parts of the old one are having trouble (the screen, the 'n' key, the network card, etc.), and for various reasons I have more money now that I probably will until I get out of school.  So I ordered a shiny new ( Read more... )

Last Tuesday we went to see Eddie Izzard, a.k.a. The Funniest Man Ever.  He was totally awesome.  If they  make a DVD of this show, I will totally buy it.  According to him, the 10th commandment should really be "Thou shalt not COVER thy neighbor's ox", because it's really annoying when someone does that.  Where's my ox?  He's gone ( Read more... )

I realize that if you are reading this and are also a Joss Whedon fan, it is nearly impossible that you haven't heard about Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Still, just in case you haven't, Act 1 is out and is awesome, so go check it out!  Acts 2 and 3 coming soon!

We took a spur of the moment, one-night camping trip last night.  We stayed at a little campground off the Clackamas.  It was a nice little place, the weather was beautiful, the river was close...and right around dusk and dawn, all you could smell was the pit toilet a few sites down the road.    Mmmmm ( Read more... )
