...I am being thrown off by how pleasant Glenda has been lately? I guess there is less stress generally - last month was pretty terrible - and she got a week away from the kids (and me). I think, surgery aside, it was the lack of the stress associated with my son that is the truly telling bit. We love him but he is SUCH a pain in the ass. Anyway -

I guess this is one of those times that my therapist would say "Just turn down the volume on your conscious mind and enjoy what is making you happy in the here and now."

Yes, I find it difficult to do that too...
