So I was talking to a lovely young lady today who asked me if I missed working on television. That really got me thinking. Sure the early calls were kind of a drag. I'd have to say that with the exception of the "ex-con" part, Chris Stevens really was the one charater that was the most like me. Who knows if it's because I played him for so long, or just because he was written that way. All I know was that by the end of the run - it was hard for people to tell sometimes where Chris ended and I began.

The only character I've really played for more than a couple seasons was on Sliders. But I think the most fun part about that was getting to play the different versions of myself from different dimensions. I think by the end Quinn became more like me, but more like how I wanted to be, if that makes sense? He started out geeky then became this tough sort of hero and I thought I was so cool. *lol*
TV is great, man.

I love doing sci fi almost as much as romantic stuff. When else do you get to have swords - bend the rules of physics - wear wild costumes - and have a general great time of it! I really loved the Visitor, there was so much more we could have done with it - they just pulled the plug too soon. Ratings... Just like Lucky - I thought that was a great show - so much potential.
Chris became more like me as the seasons progressed. I wasn't 100% happy with the way it ended (NX) but I had a lot of control over Chris' look - so I guess I was fortunate for that. It was just sad the way the run of the show sort of petered out you know. But it did have a great run.
