Yes! LOTR is really hard going. You want to read Dragonlance. Really enjoyable and much more easy going. And someone you know is bound to have a copy. First one is Dragons of autumn twilight, in a series of 3, the dragonlance chronicles. And there's loads of dragons!

nice one. I dunno, i think LOTR is good because its so indepth. I think thats obviously why Mr Tolkien was the shit when it came to it.

But yeah ill give dragonlance a go. I like stories with likable characters, but then I suppose a good story always have characters you care about.

I even started reading The Silmarilion, now if you want a hard going book read that :P
