[OOC - This is a great piece, from a writing standpoint as well as RP. It lets readers fill in their own stuff as it hints at just enough for a frame of reference and whatnot. I love scenes that explore possible futures and alternate timelines.]

((OOC: Thanks so much! I'm a massive... MASSIVE fan of AUs and alternate timelines, and things-that-could-be-but-won't and the like. It's mega fun/nerve wracking to be dabbling about in your guys' canon, trying not to break any china as I force myself inside the shop. *reads previous sentence* Oh, man. I also have this love affair with long, convoluted, not really coherent metaphors. Feel free to gag me. *runs off*))

[OOC - Oh yes, the "what might have been" part is very fun. No worries by the way, I mess up metaphors too. Is fun! XD ]
