So sorry for the delay in getting to the good stuff here. I wasn't involved in this round, but have heard that deadflowers5 is MIA and that we have goodies in need of posting. Hopefully all is well and she will return very shortly, but to keep things moving in the meantime, I'd like to ask everyone to check in

Hey, that's superb! I can't wait to see what you gals have come up with. I'll have to wait to see where everyone else is at, but I assume you gals would be ready to post next week?

And not at all, you and denyce did grand. I wasn't involved in this round so didn't know what the schedule was and wouldn't have known it was past posting time if you hadn't mentioned it.

Yep, I think next week would be fine - if LJ decides to stop being a bitch and actually lets me post anyway - but I don't mind waiting if there are a few more authors and artists needing time and you want everyone to post around the same time.

Awesome all around! Well, except for LJ's hissy fit, which will hopefully clear up shortly. We'll have to see what'll work with posting.

I imagined there were a pile of folks itching to finally post, but since I only heard from a couple of you I really looked at the claims post and it looks as though there were only three stories in this round. Apparently, we have one finished, one very not finished and one that can't possibly be finished because it was never claimed so we'll see where your fellow writer is at on her story and if in the next couple days the mystery writer appears.

I have an incomplete draft. I kind of need the deadline to actually force myself to finish.

I think someone volunteered to do art for my story, but I never contacted them because it wasn't finished and I didn't want to get someone to put effort into art when I wasn't sure if I was going to finish.

Thanks for checking in! If your artist hasn't seen a draft then you folks still need some time indeed.

Where are you at on your story? Do you feel confident at this point that you can finish it - in which case we need to see if your artist can still play and get them a copy of wherever your're at ASAP - and, if so, about how long are you thinking you'd need?

I probably need about four weeks. I don't need that long to actually finish writing, but I need to find the time. (And then time for a quick beta before posting.)

That'd work out fine - that's about how long your artist should need as well. Have you tried contacting your artist yet? We definitely want to make sure she gets a copy of your draft so she can get to work.
