I'm supposed to do what?

Signed up three weeks ago for a computing experiment--digital image processing. My partner and I are supposed to be the first pair doing this experiment in some time, so we're sort of supposed to be guinea pigs for the reintroduction of this experiment. It shows--the sample code provided for this experiment is in QBasic. Argh. So we set to ( Read more... )

...C? My sympathies! I gave up on learning how to write bloated programming code years ago, it was that particular programming language which put me off.

If you do decide to call it a day, don’t feel even the smallest twinge of guilt for giving up. C is evil and consumes your soul with it's evil mind controlling powers diverts attention away from all other coursework because it's so damn time consuming and one finds herself missing deadlines for other classes, because of her damn unhelpful tutor who expects her to already know what she's doing, despite the fact he hasn't yet taught her and... Oh dear, is one speaking from personal experience?

Vanessa does travel now. ^_^

Good luck on making sure the experiment isn't re-introduced?

Too late, I'm afraid--it's sucked me in. I finally realised what was wrong with the whole thing yesterday and corrected it--and now I moved on. Now I'm coding, or rather, I've just finished coding two dimensional Fourier transformation routines that will in all likelihood not work when I test them. Ha.

I am such a tool.

The bright side is, I'm not such a glutton for punishment that I'm going to try and test and debug the bloody thing tonight. That can wait for Monday. The thing can go play with itself during the weekend or something like that.

The sad thing is that there's already other people who've gotten sucked into this mess. Which probably means they'll reintroduce it anyway. So I suppose you could say I'm doing this for all the other poor suckers who got trapped along with me. Go me. :P

Good on you, getting out of this while you had the chance. You do sound much happier studying travel, you do.
