A Note

Apparently, the pork liver and intestines in the porridge my Dad got for breakfast aren't really as inedible as I've led myself to believe all these years, after all. Neither, for that matter, is the cow stomach in the noodles I had for lunch.

Well, if everything fails, just chop everything you don't quite know what to do with, mix it up with some grains and salt. Fry. Serve with pickled red beats and an egg. That's called pölsa. Personally, I don't like it much, but I can eat it. Blood-pudding, however, I refuse to eat.
