New term's about to begin. Got a literature review to write on the decoherent histories interpretation of quantum mechanics--about one-fifth of the way done. The holiday's turned my brain to shit--three months of living easy, and now I keep forgetting things. Important things. Leaving them behind wherever I've put them while I walk away.

Why are you writing a literature review of the Decoherent Histories Interpretation? I sit because Halliwell is at your end (since he seems to have written the most comprehensive summary)?

Final year project. It's certainly not to fill any gaping void. I need to do a literature review of my assigned project topic for this year, which, unhappily for me, turns out to be beautifully unspecific. To wit:
"The aim of this project is to study this new approach to quantum theory in regard to both its original intent---the resolution of some of the major conceptual problems in standard quantum theory---and also its potential application in the wider context of quantum gravity and quantum cosmology."
That's a bit of a problem, no?
