and i have one question that you don't have to answer, i'm just very curious--why "John" in the signature and the username?

It's a nickname that I got in like 8th grade, and it quickly became an alter identity. A friend made up riddles for both of us....mine was "I'm a dwarf and my name is John and I have a parrot named Slation." (and yes, I am aware that's a run-on...) I just ran with it.
