i'm not sure how many were in there originally but if it was full then i'd say about 50%.

Damage claims

If this is not possible, please direct your report and claim to our airport staff at the location nearest you within 24 hours. We will need a copy of your ticket and claim check and will make a visual inspection of the damage.

The set had 650 chips in it, a dealer button, and two decks. If the airline won't replace the chips or reimburse you for them, remember what you told me before you left: if you lost them, you'd replace them.
