Things are doing alright in school. I just got back my results and grade for the blueprint reading book.... 100 of 100 poinjts, for an "A". I also got my grade back for the bluepring reading final test.... an "A+" I'm working on the vertical test for the welding portion of the class, and hope to be done with that by tomorrow. I found out at the end of Winter quarter that the school has some scholarships available, but not for summer. Well, Fall quarter is coming up and I've filled out my application for the scholarships. But, there is some good news! I asked my instructor if he would be willing to write me a letter of reccomendation to include in my scholarship ( Read more... )

So, this last weekend I finally weekend I fulfilled a small dream and had a "Red Dwarf" themed meal. My girl byrdie and I went to a good local Indian restaraunt and ate pompadums, Chicken Vindaloo and washed it down with a Lager. Well, we got our grades for the quarter. I'm pulling down an A, but I'm a little bummed out about my grade. The instructor bases the scores off of a 1%-100% basis. My grade was 94.3%, while the only person who got a better score than me got a 95%. I'm just a litle bummed out that I didn't get the best score in the class. But hey, it gives me a ( Read more... )

I collect D&D miniatures, loads on them. I mainly like the undead, but anything is cool in my book. Well, just recently some hot sexy woman gave me a Colossal Red Dragon.
