The start this makes me think that it would be great to have a Lil' Trek film: kind of like The Goonies but with Lil' Kirk, Spock and Bones.

This? Who can say. Things explode and there's no Riker and Troi so we're heading in the right direction.

Actually, I love that they've kept the look of the original series.

And not just because 60s minidresses and kneeboots are awesomely hawt on space-girls.

The Enterprise bridge has a whole space-Ikea thing going on that I love.
