BT have cut off our phone service.

Yes, we've been paying the bills. Due to some kind of "Buttle/Tuttle" incident in the bowels of the machine someone, somewhere asked for their phone service to be discontinued and our phone number was the one that was entered. So what's happening?

I'm currently recovering from the stupidest illness I've had in recent memory. The symptoms were as follows:

1) Aching joints.
2) Extreme tiredness.
3) Cigarettes tasted horrible (and still do).
4) Nothing else.

It's been a good couple of months for games really. *Nothing* I have ever played made me as happy as the end of Portal though.

The new Futurama DVD is out on the 27th of November. On the 26th of November they turn on the CERN supercollider on the Franco Swiss border which may destroy the universe.

So swings and roundabouts basically. Maybe it'll get leaked onto the internet a couple of days early.

Just to say that I got up to Andrew Ryan's office in Bioshock. The sequence that occurs inside the room is absolutely one of the best things I've ever seen in a videogame.

To say anymore would be criminal.

So having wandered from pillar to post trying to find a shop that sells Xbox Marketplace Points, it turns out that I'm an idiot. There's an option on the dash to enter your credit card details and purchase Microsoft funny money. Once entered, two button presses is all it takes to top up your tank ( Read more... )

So, yeah, I bought a 360 a couple of days ago. Downloaded the Geometry Wars and Space Giraffe demos and played a little bit of Dead Rising but, to be honest, though a combination of tiredness, mopiness and busyness I've barely touched the damn thing ( Read more... )
