I've been in the studio a lot lately... thinking about the show coming up in February.  For that show, I'm only going to bring sculptural items.

It's funny, because in order to produce work that I feel good about, I have to block out all feeling stressed about the show, or thinking about what people might enjoy seeing... so that I can end up with

One guess, you grew up Catholic...lol..so did I...went to Parochial school for my first eight years....and this was right before Vatican two so it was all Latin mass, smoke and mirrors but most of all fear...and that fear remains today....even though I long ago lost my faith....brainwashed forever...how sad

anyway, are you familiar with Joseph Campbell's work? it sounds very similar to what you are reading now....the Power of Myth...I have all the interviews he did with Bill Moyer on PBS on dvd...wonderul! let me know if you want to borrow them
