Deadlines. It's like the half-painful, half-happy tingle of blood in a limb that'd just about been written off for dead. Spanish reading exam in five days. I've got deadlines again, have to think again. Can do better than pretending to be busy again.

Deadlines, reading, intellectual rigor... isn't it great? Have you figured out where you're living yet? I finally got my assignment - just north of campus on Greenwood. I've already had several offers to visit me from people who who wished they lived in the city. As long as they bring in-kind donations of food, that's cool with me.

Haven't signed a lease yet, but I'm talking to some guys with a place on Kenwood -- probably not too far from you. Just north of 53rd, by Leona's and Third World Cafe and all that stuff. I'm just happy I'm not living south somewhere -- not because of crime concerns, but because I don't want to have to walk a mile with groceries!
