180 degrees of me

So today I bought half the IKEA Sultan Sandane bed. It's the round bed, and it comes in four pizza-slice segments of 90 degrees. I can't fit that in my bedroom and still have space for books, a desk, and for, you know, the door to swing open ( Read more... )

Yes! Round sheets, round matress pad ... IKEA has it all. Of course, I have to kind of fold them or something since I still only have half a round bed, but it's better than trying to fit a rectangular sheet.

Aweseome. Plus, it's really low to the ground (at least right now -- I haven't put the legs on yet). So I could just pile pillows next to it and roll right onto the floor. You add that safety net ... the round bed could well be the first step on the road to being massively obese. Like, forklift obese.

Good thing the gym membership is free for grad students.
