am back to wanting to plan events, y'all. Like for real. I know I talk about this ALL THE TIME but I really am ready to take the necessary steps to make this happen....
I feel you on that.. even though I am in the throes of my "career" (I say it in quotes because it doesn't feel real, although it certainly is... I'm setting up retirement and 401ks and everything) I'm still working on crafting my side hustle so, if and when the time is right, I can step up out and keep it moving. So definitely do your thug-dizzle!
And even though it may contain big words I don't understand, I'd like to know what your research topic is.
SJ, let some dumb folk know what your research topic is, so that I can casually brag about you and toss it into conversations with people I meet up here... oh, and what's the schedule for Indy/Purdue? I'm trying, without luck thusfar, to find a nonstop through Boston, but I may just end up coming through Atlanta or somewhere else en route, with a turntable and a bunch of music... looking at Fri-Sun, so call me and we can make plans for the essentials, like bacardi and grey goose (and dinner).
As i read you disertation on Significgant others, you have some good points. But what I really wanted to say is hi!. Perhaps you'll figure out who this and email me back, if not I'll hit you back on some topic......I'll give you a clue, it's been a long time since we've seen each other
I rate this entry 5 stars (out of 5). Very candid, honest, thought-provoking, and intriguing(although QUITE long) lol. But I totally get what youre saying even though i fall into the category of being with a significant other. and hell yeah i feel pressure to get married in the (late) 20's. But not so much bc of the whole family pressure (lol bc if my family had a choice they'd rather me not ever get married at all instead of to a black guy-or at least that is what theyve expressed to me). I just want to be able to healthily have my mini Jwaines without any risk factors for Down's Syndrome or whatever else plagues older women having kids. But then again hey, Courtney Cox & Gwyneth Paltrow did it. oh and DUDE...i TOTALLY look forward to having a mini-sabrina (or 2...or 3....or 10) running around. They'd be too cute!
