I looked forward to escaping my flat, because it was a change of scene. I'm glad we left - it means I might yet remain friends with my ex-housemates. And I want to.

Ditto the above. I was ready to kill my housemates when I left, so I was glad to get away, but now we get on well and still meet up and the like.
