Nice grass work! And I was going to say it looked Mauve to me. But now that you mention it....not the manliest color choice, no ;-)

Thanks, it's a holistic approach to lawn care involving chemistry + beer (yes it goes on the lawn), ammonia, dish soap, and nature. Plus a ton of prep work on the front end to set the conditions. Jerry baker is my hero.

We're actually limited on color choices due to restrictive covenants.
So it was either the pink or YASOG (yet another shade of green). I'd say 60% of the houses around here are YASOG.

At least it helps people find me when I give directions. :P

I'm insufferable if you get me talking about grass. I've only found one other person who would listen and he's the same way. When we get together, we go back and forth about proper blade sharpness, mowing height, new treatmnet regimes, etc. We end up alone about 30 seconds into the convo. It's almost Zen. People just don't get it. Hmm, new book idea: The Tao of Turf.
