I'm curious why you went out on what could be considered the worst shopping day in the US calendar.

I mean, I love a deal as much as the next guy, but come on. I could drive to fucking FRANCE in the time it took you to get to the till. In the snow. In heavy traffic. On a day when the ferries are on strike and the tunnel is filled with marshmallow fluff.

I got a 13 month Live subscription card for $24.99 (which is great, since my subscription auto-renews on 12/14, so it's half-price for something I was already going to buy anyway). Also Burnout Paradise and BF: Bad Company for $20, 2 50-pack DVD+R spindles at $5 apiece and a 4 GB USB drive for $8. Not a bad haul.

And hey, the day could've been worse. I could've been trampled and murdered by a Walmart crowd (note: this really happened today in New York).
