So, not that I don't dig the picture I have, but it's just a piece of Pirated Deviantart. How do I make them icon things. Cuz everybody got those pictures of Harry Potter or Peter Pan or what not, and then they got them catchphrases by'm. I'm confounded as ta how one goes about manufacturin such things.

To upload your userpics, go to the Upload a New Picture section of your Edit Userpics page. If you are already at or above your maximum allowed number of userpics, the upload form will not display. After you delete enough userpics to bring your total below your limit, you will be able to view and use the upload form

I didn't make my icon, it was sent to me and I just stuck it in there.

You could make one in paint.

Or you could look for one (try googling LJ icons, but make sure you credit the author)

Or you could ask someone to make one for you. I'm not bad at making them, but I know of those who are better. Like Dana.

fun way is to randomly search through lj for communitites and stuff that make icons.
steal them and credit the author.
that way is fun though, cuz u sea such creative peoples and stuff.

Well, I agree with ^ that person. The most fun is looking through lj communities. My new fave is sincityicons cuz everything there is gorgeous.

Also, if you can tell people the kind you want, they can make/find them for you. That's how I got mine. :)
