Anyone ever taken any knife-throwing lessons? I'm thinking I might start teaching after another year or so, and am wondering about the logistics/legalities involved; I'm assuming that I'll either need insurance or some kind of waiver for pupils to sign

I get third party liability insurance. These days you have to do that, really -just in case. Very unlikely but would save you an awful lot of grief if something goes wrong. I expect you might have to pay slightly higher premiums for knife-throwing lessons than guitar lessons, mind you...

Circus space do a Western Skills day class, I'd say that's a good place to start.
