(no subject)
well, it's about time I should update...
1) Standup Comedy
My standup has been going pretty well; I even was first host a week ago! That was quite exciting. I also have a video of me doing standup on TEH INTERNETS! If you want to see it, let me know and I might link ya.
2) Birthday
My birthday was a blast, thanks for everyone who made my day! My parents gave me $100 (in addition to the trip to see NoFX), my brother gave me the DVDs of both Chasing Amy and The Aristocrats, my sister gave me 3 Sudoku books, Ian/Sasha got me a book on crazy Japanese inventions, and Eric/Bekah got me an awesome PA shirt (plus an awesome picture-thingie-way of saying "they call me hadouken because I'm down-right fierce!")! I hope that's it, because I'd hate to say I forgot someone's gift... but I do know that I greatly appreciated everyone's actions and truly enjoyed the gifts. Al B. also recorded my standup on my birthday, as noted above. Plus we had a wild and crazy party for my birthday/st. patricks day, but that's a different story... at least I didn't break the window this time!
3) The Bad News
The bad news is that my cyst has begun to return. Shit. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to get it lanced or whatever again, but that means that I'll most def have to have the surgery this summer. That means:
a) I won't be able to try to travel this summer, which I was going to try to do, and
b) I probably can't take a job, since I probably won't be able to work for a short while after the surgery.
Also, I don't know if I'll be going to Shiokazecon, and if I do go, I probably will have very little funds.
Anyway, that's most of what's been going on with my life... so... bye?
